Ernie grew up on the bike, and his love for junior development comes from having been in a competitive international junior program himself. He spent his teenage years competing around the world and won junior TT national championships for Mexico before signing his first pro contract. After racing professionally on the road for years, Ernie now shares his knowledge of bikes as a bike fitter, a personal coach, and a race strategy expert. He is the Race Director for OZ Development and absolutely loves working with developing athletes.
